Obtención: El lúpulo es originario de zonas templadas de Europa, América y Asia, creciendo de forma silvestre en zonas húmedas. Es obtenido solo de sus flores femeninas, cultivándose también solo los tallos femeninos. 

Beneficios: El lúpulo tiene alto contenido en flavonoides y aceites esenciales. Posee propiedades astringentes y antiseborreicas tonificando el cuero cabelludo, regulando la caspa y ayudando a frenar la caída capilar, aportando vitalidad al cabello debido a su acción antiandrógena. Es seborregulador y antiséptico por ello también es usado para tratar el acné.
